From getting locked down to founding KM Coffee

One of our the founding member of the company is Mr. Yash, he had spent most of his time overseas for study & work. He came back to his native country Nepal in 2020. When suddenly, the COVID-19 virus hit the world and along with it Nepal was also in lockdown. Being a coffee enthusiast, He searched for freshly roasted coffee directly from suppliers. Unlike overseas he wasn’t able to get freshly roasted coffee easily. He saw a need for a coffee that was freshly roasted & strong to keep people’s eyes wide open during the morning and have an extraordinary performance throughout the day. After handpicking a perfect blend of beans and a unique roasting techniques, KM Coffee was born. At Present, Thousands of people have faith in KM Coffee to provide them barista-like coffee at home.

Struggle of KM Coffee

Due to the outbreak of Covid, KM Coffee had a rare opportunity to flourish in the Nepalese market. Astonishingly, there were more coffeeholic in Nepal than they had anticipated. Through social media such as Tiktok, Instagram and Youtube, the brand became a household name and was adored by many. Amidst this, people were eager to try this coffee and some even took this marvelous coffee while traveling abroad, which encouraged KM Coffee to blossom more. With the help of KM Coffee fans (KM squad), it has been able to serve quality coffee in many cafes, restaurants all over Nepal.

Best Coffee Hunt

Pandemic disease was creating havoc in the nation, despite that, along with trusted childhood friends, Yash went from city to city, village to village and alley to alley in order to receive the ultimate coffee beans in the country. Finally the hunt was over and beans were discovered.

Reason Behind the Name

“Navayeko mama vanda kano mama bes” - Kano Mama With this quote in heart, the brand got its name. The KM is the abbreviation of Kano Mama.
